Technical Writer

We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant to join us and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing online strategies.

We hope that this job will help you acquire research skills and provide you with knowledge of various online strategies and user experience domain. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in all aspects of product development and service industry and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

• Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation
• Study product samples and talk with product designers and developers
• Work with technical staff to make products easier to use and thus need fewer instructions
• Organize and write supporting documents for products
• Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users’ understanding
• Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos
• Standardize content across platforms and media
• Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers
• Revise documents as new issues arise

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• As an intern, ability to commit 12 weeks to the internship and work onsite in Pune, India
• Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
